It’s getting more comfortable to wait for a bus in Santa Maria. Santa Maria Regional Transit has begun installing upgraded shelters that offer several passenger-friendly improvements. A total of 20 new shelters will be installed along the entire length of the Broadway corridor. If the replaced shelters are in good working order they will be relocated to other areas that don’t have shelters.
