We may see quicker voting results in the November elections. The San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder’s office purchased a Dominion High Pro scanner earlier this month. The new scanner is more efficient, doing three time the work of just one machine. According to KSBY, the County Clerk-Recorder’s Office will hold onto two or three of the old scanners to use for smaller-scale ballot counting. Santa Barbara County is expecting its third scanner by the November election.
