A 20-year-old Santa Maria man was arrested yesterday on suspicion of possessing and transmitting child exploitation material. An investigation began after X Corp, formerly Twitter, submitted a report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children after Jesus Bautista Lopez used their service to possess and transmit the material. Detectives discovered hundreds of files on his devices. Lopez was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail.
