San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Nipomo man early yesterday morning. It started late Wednesday night. 36-year-old Bobby Heredia reportedly vandalized a vehicle, breaking windows and damaging the car’s body, then threatened to kill the vehicle’s owner. He fled before deputies arrived. They caught up with Heredia at his East Price Street home. He held deputies at bay for hours, throwing rocks and bricks at the patrol vehicles and then retreating inside his house. By 6:15 yesterday morning, Heredia was in custody.
