Pismo Beach Police recovered a suspected stolen car, got some drugs off the street, took an assault-style rifle and ammo off the streets, and put man in custody. According to the Pismo P.D. Facebook page, officers were conducting a “welfare check” on a person who appeared to be passed out in a car on North Park Boulevard Friday afternoon. When they arrived, officers ordered the man out of the car. He tried to flee. That lasted about 30 seconds. The man, 33-year-old Dalton Cross, had outstanding felony warrants. His bail was set at 200,000 dollars.
