Sub-par ambulance response times in Santa Barbara County were the reason behind yesterday’s press conference held by The Fire Chiefs Association of Santa Barbara County and the United Firefighters of Santa Barbara County. Fire officials are asking the County Board of Supervisors to reconsider the current ambulance contract. According to KSBY, AMR believes they are within their contractual response time compliance.
