An altercation led to one person being sent to the hospital and another to jail. According to Paso Robles Police investigators, the altercation began on the 3300 block of Vine Street just after 2 A.M. Sunday morning. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect, 32-year-old Alberto Cruz Nieves fled the scene, only to be picked up by CHP officers in Kern County a few hours later.
