CMC Inmate Convicted On Felony Threat Charges

A California Men’s Colony inmate has been convicted of making felony criminal threats against a female prison employee. During a four-day trial, jurors heard evidence that nine-time convicted James McCurdy became enraged after the psychiatric technician found contraband in his cell. According to the SLO County D.A.’s Office, McCurdy hurled repeated and prolonged threats that included killing the female tech. McCurdy faces a maximum of six years in state prison.
