Some Downtown San Luis Obispo merchants were shocked to learn that someone was passing counterfeit bills. The San Luis Obispo Police Department is currently looking for a woman who used counterfeit money last month to make several purchases on June 30th and August 4th. Authorities recommend businesses use available technology to detect counterfeit money.
