A hit-and -run crash sent two people to the hospital and landed a 15-year-old in jail. According to the CHP, the incident happened early Sunday morning on North River Road near Wellsona Road just after 1 a.m. The 15-year-old driver was speeding at close to 90 miles an hour when he lost control of the 2013 Camaro. The car left the road, rolling several times, ejecting 22-year-old Raul Cortez. Cortez suffered major injuries. The driver and a 17-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries and fled. A passerby called the police. The driver is facing felony hit-and-run charges.
