Suicide is the second leading cause of death among people between 10 and 25 years old. That’s according to a report from the California Office of Suicide Prevention. Later this fall, you can learn how to identify someone with mental health issues, and how to help. Transitions-Mental Health Association in Santa Maria will be holding a Suicide Awareness Training workshop on October 19th at the Santa Maria Public Library.
