A Solo Vehicle crash on the 101 landed the driver in the hospital. According to a CHP Instagram post, 30 minutes before the crash, the driver had been ticketed for for driving 85 miles an hour down the Cuesta Grade. After signing the “promise to appear,” officials say the driver’s car left the road in the area of Laetitia Winery near Nipomo, crashing into a boulder. The driver was transported to an area hospital complaining of pain.
