A San Luis Obispo County School has joined a growing list of schools banning cell phones on campus during school hours. Mission College Prep began preparing for the cell phone restriction last year. According to KSBY, students must put their phones in a pouch and lock it up when they arrive. They get their phones back at the end of the school day. Teachers say even though the school year has just started, they’re seeing positive effects.
