The 11th annual Day of Hope is taking place this morning in the Santa Maria Valley and the Five Cities. For a dollar, you can purchase a special edition of the Santa Maria Times. Volunteers will wear bright orange-colored vests throughout the Santa Maria Valley and in South San Luis Obispo County at dozens of street corners. Donations help Mission Hope Centers in Santa Maria and Arroyo Grande stay on the cutting edge of cancer treatment on the Central Coast.
