An early morning vegetation fire in San Luis Obispo forced the evacuations of more than 325 homes yesterday morning. The Bishop Fire was first reported at 4:30 a.m. It charred about 15 acres. The Fire caused several power outages. A few hours later, fire crews had the forward progress of the flames halted. No homes were lost, and no injuries were reported. Cal Fire SLO fought another vegetation fire in San Miguel. That fire scorched about 7 acres. The causes of both fires are under investigation.
