A former San Luis Obispo County employee is headed to prison. 54-year-old Norman Hibble was facing 12 counts of embezzlement after allegedly misusing a county-issued credit card. He pled no contest to seven of the charges. Prosecutors say Hibble stole about 500,000 dollars from the county for personal use. Yesterday, he was sentenced to six years in state prison. He could earn an early release for good behavior.
