The San Luis Obispo Police Department will be conducting a DUI Checkpoint tonight. According to yesterday’s press release, the checkpoint location is determined by locations with a history of crashes involving drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol. First-time offenders face arrest and fines averaging more than 13,000 dollars in fines and fees. Tonight’s checkpoint will begin at 8 p.m..
