A popular San Luis Obispo dog park will be closing next Monday. The Laguna Lake Dog Park will be closed for renovations and upgrades. Some residents who regularly bring their pets to the park say the closure is bittersweet. The park will be closed until spring of next next year. Crews will be installing new fencing, ADA pathways, upgraded turf areas, mulch, and drainage, landscaping, and new play structures for dogs. Their will also be places for their humans to hang out as well.
