Pismo Beach Police have identified the victim and suspect in last week’s fatal stabbing. Authorities say 34-year-old Andrew Rodriguez is accused of stabbing Jonathan Perez last Wednesday on Price Street. Investigators say the two were known acquaintances. Rodriguez fled to Ventura and attempted suicide. When he was released, he was arrested on suspicion of murder. He’s being held without bail. The investigation is ongoing.
