The Santa Maria man accused of fatally stabbing another man was in court yesterday. 34-year-old Andrew Rodriguez fled to Ventura and attempted suicide after stabbing Jonathan Perez to death in Pismo Beach last Wednesday evening. Rodriguez did not enter a plea. His attorney wanted more time to go over discovery evidence. Rodriguez is being held without bail and is due back in court on September 30th.
