A week-long detour starts this morning for drivers using the Cholame ‘Y’ interchange on Highway 46. Southbound drivers on Highway 41 attempting to turn onto Highway 46 East toward Bakersfield will be redirected onto westbound Highway 46 toward Paso Robles for about one mile, before they can turn around and continue east. Caltrans traffic signs will be in place to help direct drivers. The detour should end this Friday.
