A routine probation compliance check turned into a hazmat investigation yesterday. According to the Tribune, Paso Robles detectives were searching a home on Putter Avenue when they found a suspicious liquid. Out of an abundance of caution, the detectives called the hazmat team to investigate. The liquid is believed to be the psychedelic substance DMT. More testing is needed. The suspect was arrested on a parole violation.
