A fire involving railroad ties broke out early yesterday morning. The fire was first reported just after 6:30. The flames were burning railroad ties in Price Canyon near Thousand Hills Road. Firefighters had the flames doused by 10 a.m. Union Pacific Railroad also sent a crew to inspect the railroad ties and make repairs. train traffic was briefly impacted. An investigation is ongoing.
