Utilities Credit Check Is In The Mail

If you’re like millions of Californians, you should see a credit on your electric bill this month, thanks to the California Climate Credit program. This state initiative aims to fight climate change by returning money to utility customers. PG&E ratepayers got a $55.17 credit in April and will receive the same amount this October or early November. The credit comes from the sale of greenhouse gas emission allowances and will appear as “California Climate Credit” on your bill. The program runs through 2030, with credits issued every April and October.
