Jurors have heard from the woman who accused an Atascadero barber of sexual assault. According the Tribune, Ashley Doe was the first woman to accuse Nate Abate on social media, prompting several other women to come forward. Abate was arrested in January 2023 and charged with multiple sex crimes. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Since her post, at least 30 women have accused Julian Contreras and Abate of sexual assault or harassment together or separately. Contreras has yet to be arrested.
