SLO County Test Scores Still Low Following Pandemic

Recent standardized scores show learning losses due to the pandemic are still a problem in San Luis Obispo County. The data shows that schools across the state are still grappling with how to get students back on track after a bout of learning loss decimated test scores in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the Tribune, English-language arts scores in San Luis Obispo County have improved a bit, but math scores have dipped to the lowest on more than eight years.
