The Energy Department reports the national average price of regular unleaded rose 4 cents in the past week to 3.19 a gallon While up week over week that is still down 41 cents a gallon compared to a year ago. The most expensive gas remains in California where the average price for regular unleaded is 4.66 a gallon.
