San Luis Obispo County residents may experience a public safety power shutoff this weekend depending on where they live. According to the SLO County Office of Emergency Services, PG&E is forecasting a public safety power shutoff for several areas of eastern San Luis Obispo County between 8 a.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday due to predicted high winds and high wildfire risk. PG&E officials say a total of 32,000 customers in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties could be affected.
