Santa Maria Police received a criminal cyber tip that involved a local resident purchasing Child Abuse material. Following an investigation by the Santa Maria P.D.’s Special Victim’s Unit, detectives identified the suspect as 38-year-old Santa Maria resident Victorino Hernandez-Ramirez. Last week a search warrant was served at the suspect’s home on Cameron Avenue. The 38-year-old was arrested. His bail was set at 100,000 dollars.
