Residents of the Lompoc and Santa Maria valleys were jolted by an earthquake last night. According to the USGS, the epicenter of the quake was southwest of Lompoc near San Miguelito Road. It struck just after 9 p.m.. The quake measured 3.3 on the Richter Scale. There are no reports of damage or injuries.
