A gap in the popular Bob Jones Trail may finally be filled. After years of negotiations with property owners to purchase land needed for the San Luis Obispo to the sea project, the County Board of Supervisors have decided to go another route. On Tuesday, the Supervisors voted 3-1 to approves a new trail design that avoids the properties all together. The project now has to be approved by the California Transportation Commission, or the county could lose more than 18 million dollars in state funding.
