The Santa Maria Public Library will be hosting its first “Coat Exchange” this weekend. Attendees are invited to bring gently worn coats and jackets to donate or exchange with other members of the community. The goal of the exchange is to help prepare residents for the colder months ahead. The event will take place Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the library’s Shepard Hall on South McClelland Street.
