Cal Poly was vandalized on Halloween night. Vandals spray-painted walls on Cal Poly buildings and a university entrance sign to protest Israel’s attacks on Gaza and the university’s connections with the U.S. military. Officials said once the graffiti was discovered it was removed or painted over. Some students believed the vandalism was justified. Other say it should be investigated as hate speech.
