The City of San Luis Obispo has announced the hiring of a new Assistant City Manager. Scott Collins will soon be the former Executive Director of the Housing Authority of San Luis Obispo when he take his new position on December 5th. Collins held a similar position in Morro Bay for five years. He’ll be responsible for the oversight of the city’s Community Service Group, including supervising the directors of the Community Development, Parks and Recreation, Public Works, and Utilities departments.
