Morro Bay Police continue to investigate a fatal traffic accident that happened last week. It happened Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Beach Street and Market Avenue. A 77-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle driven by a 53-year-old man. Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors. The victim’s name has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.
