The demolition of a once popular Santa Maria eatery got underway over the weekend. The Original Roadhouse Grill and the building next to it that once housed the Hometown Buffet were approved to be removed in August. City officials say they will be replaced by a Starbucks and a car wash. According to KSBY, there’s no set timeline for construction completion.
