Millions of people will be traveling on the highways and bi-ways of California this Thanksgiving weekend. According to Triple-A, roughly 9 million Californians will be traveling by car. The California Highway Patrol has geared up for the weekend with its Maximum Enforcement Period. The MEP will run between tomorrow at 6 P.M. and Sunday at 11:59 P.M. The CHP Reminds travelers to buckle up, drive sober, refrain from speeding, and avoid distractions.
