A woman was found dead inside her car in Atascadero yesterday morning. Police say officers responded to the Chevron on San Anselmo at around 7 o’clock. The approximately 50-year-old female was unresponsive in the driver’s seat. They attempted life saving measures, but the victim would be pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
