The San Luis Obispo County board of supervisors has given a preliminary thumbs-up to a proposal that would allow coastal towns like Avila Beach, Oceano, Los Osos, Cayucos and Cambria to open cannabis dispensaries. According to the Tribune, the pilot program received a 3-2 vote. Grover Beach, San Luis Obispo, and Morro Bay already have several dispensaries in operation. County staff will now have to come up with a resolution that would allow such a pilot program.
