Gas prices are remaining stable according to new government data. They haven’t been this low in much of the country since 2021 They did tick up around Thanksgiving in a few areas of the country but overall the Energy Department reports the national average for regular unleaded came down a penny to 3-03 a gallon. That’s not the case in California. According to Triple-A, Gas is averaging 4.38 a gallon. In San Luis Obispo County it’s 4.70 a gallon and Santa Barbara County is averaging 4.43 a gallon.
