Over the past 20 years, The City of San Luis Obispo has reduced the number of traffic collisions within the city limits by 70 percent, but officials think more can be done. According to KSBY, officials say severe, life-altering or, fatal crashes still need to be addressed. Residents are encouraged to comment on a new Vision Zero Action Plan to eliminate all traffic-related fatalities and severe injuries in the city. You can attend the Active Transportation Committee (ATC) Meeting at City Hall this evening between 6 and 8, or submit comments online at the city’s Traffic Safety webpage before January 15th.
