Two swimmers needed to be rescued after becoming stranded by high tides at Pirates Cove yesterday. Cal Fire SLO first responders used a rope system to save one of the swimmers. They used a helicopter to pluck the person from the beach. Both swimmers were uninjured during their ordeal.
