Cal Poly students are having robots deliver their food while they study. This year, Cal Poly began using Grubhub Starship robots designed to deliver food across campus more efficiently. The goal was to improve the student experience. 41 robots bring students food to more than 90 on-campus locations. Students pay a flat delivery fee of 3.50 per delivery. Cal Poly only has to keep the robots charged and connected to it’s network.
