You may have noticed picketers at the San Luis Obispo Airport yesterday. The Passenger service and ramp workers want higher wages, better medical benefits, and several safety concerns addressed. Officials say the workers have a physically demanding job, working out in the elements for less than 19 dollars an hour. Negotiations are between Piedmont Airlines and the Communications Workers of America. Piedmont Airlines is owned by American Airlines.
