Two San Luis Obispo County cities have issued scam alerts. The Nipomo Community Services District and the City of Paso Robles issued the warnings yesterday. In Nipomo individuals impersonating community service district employees and claim that the district’s water is contaminated and try to sell the resident expensive water treatment equipment. In Paso Robles, someone is using a similar tactic. This time, they claimed to be from the state. Officials remind residents not to give out personal or financial information to door-to-door solicitors.
