A Santa Maria house fire broke out yesterday afternoon. Firefighters responded to the fire on the corner if California Boulevard and Clubhouse Drive just after 2 o’clock. The homeowners were not inside the home when the fire started. Crews had the flames knocked down in less than 20 minutes. The Garage of the home suffered the most damage. the cause of the fire is under investigation.
