Los Osos could soon be connected to a state water pipeline. Congressman Salud Carbajal’s Office says both the House and Senate have agreed on an Army Corps of Engineers water project bill called the Water Resources Development Act. The bill includes 8 million dollars to build a 2.5-mile pipeline connecting Los Osos to the State Water Project. According to the Tribune, Los Osos is currently 100 percent reliant on rain-fed groundwater for its drinking water supply.
