The City of San Luis Obispo plans to discuss a new Overnight Safe Parking Program. The program would rotate between six volunteer locations. Each location would host homeless participants for a month. Participants must get signed up for the program at 40 Prado Homeless Services Center. 12 Safe Parking spots will be available nightly. The City of San Luis Obispo Planning Commission will hold a public hearing tomorrow at 6 p.m. at City Hall. The program will be piloted for up to two years.
