An Oregon woman accused of drunk driving and hitting two cyclists with her car was in court yesterday. Prosecutors believe 44-year-old Vanessa Noblitt had a blood alcohol level of .15 or higher when she struck the senior bicyclists from Avila Beach on July 23rd. One of the cyclists would die from his injuries days later. Noblitt was arrested in Bend Oregon in August and brought back to San Luis Obispo to face the charges. Yesterday, she pleaded not guilty. She’s due back in court next month.
