The final piece of a decades old puzzle may be falling into place. Earlier this month, the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors approved five million dollars to fund the construction of the Bob Jones Gap Closure Project. The 36 million dollar project will be funded by the California Transportation Commission, other state, and local funding. Its still unclear when construction of the missing link would begin.
